A Walk Back in Time…

At the end of the lane, on country road between route 20 and route 9 in Brookfield, MA is a very special place that takes you back in time…

The Walker Homestead is designed around an historic saltbox home that was built by the Walker family in 1698, possibly the oldest standing home in Brookfield. I first had the pleasure of visiting this primitive oasis at their grand opening on June 13th, 2009

And the Simple Treasures from the Past Antique and Primitive Goods Show!

Last fall the APP gang were honored to be asked to serve as the booth judges. There was so much eye candy. Here are just a few of the pics Margo and I took that day….

And this Saturday, there is sure to be just as much eye candy as as Walker Homestead hosts another Simple Treasures from the Past Show.

APP won’t be there on Saturday on an official basis but I will be there helping Lana Testa in her Winterberry Primitives booth and several shops that carry our magazine will be there with their booths as well.  To see a list of vendors and for more information you can click ~HERE~!

If you are in the area or can make the trip, this is a must see event!!  I hope to see you there!!

Prim Blessings, Linda

Thanks Linda for this wonderful walk.

I tell ya, I would love to take this walk again with you this coming Saturday as the view of this property is amazing. Wouldn't it be nice to Play House here for a Day? Breathtaking!!!
Now, those goodies I see, make me realize just a couple of hours would make me happy---Want That and That and That. :DDDD

Enjoy the fun. Hopefully we will get a chance to see a few close-up pictures of the goodies they have to offer soon.

Have a fun time.

These pictures are amazing and the gardens are gorgeous. My mother is right, I was born in the wrong century. Thank you for the most pleasant 20 minutes of my day.
