A Big Announcement & A Winner!

We have some very exciting news to share with you!

A Primitive Place & Country Journal
is proud to announce
the addition of
David T. Smith
to our staff as contributing writer.

We are honored to have David T. Smith join our team
and we look forward to his contributions
to our publication.

David will be sharing his design skills and his knowledge of antiques and history with our readers.

David devotes himself to reproducing American antique furniture reproductions; New England, Shaker and Pennsylvania-German styles through his business, The Workshops of David T. Smith. The fine museum quality furniture of The Workshops can be found in homes across the nation.
Photo above: The Libbey kitchen is one of the most famous works
of David T. Smith. It was inspired by an early 1800s kitchen.

His kitchens have been featured in numerous national magazines and publications, such as
Early American Life, Country Living,
and Country Sampler, to name a few.
David also conducts seminars around the country sharing his design skills
with those that are designing kitchens
for their historic homes.

You can find out more about
The Workshops of David Smith at:

If you have not subscribed to A Primitive Place & Country Journal, you will not want to miss out!
David T. Smith’s first article will appear in our Winter/Holiday 2011 issue
scheduled to be released November 1st.

Now for the winner of the giveaway!
Linda printed out all the eligible comments.
Unfortunately, once again, there were several that offered no contact info. If you commented and now don’t see your comment, that means when we clicked on your name in your comment,
it took us to a dead end.
After printing out the comments
and cutting them into slips,
she pulled the lucky name out of the bowl.
And the winner is…..

Tress from the blog Warmth and Comfort!

Linda will be contacting you for your mailing address
and Karen will ship out your candle shortly.
Thank you to everyone that entered!

Be watching on Sunday for our big reveal of the cover
of the Holiday 2011 issue and some sneak peeks!

Until then, from all of the APP staff,
warm hugs and prim blessings
Kristine & Linda
