September fun!!

Today the air was cool and dry, the sky a gorgeous shade of blue ~ just the perfect day for our magazine event at Country Culture’s shop and Maria and John’s home in Brookline, NH.
Not only did they have their fall Open House in the store, they very generously  opened the downstairs of their home for tours as well. It was fun to see the house all decked out for fall again. Just like last year, every nook and cranny were ready for fall.  Here are a few of the pics I took in between visiting with the kind folks who stopped by!

And some of the same folks we met last year stopped by again today. Here is Maria with our APP forum friend Karen,  her daughter and Audrey of course! 042
And looky here… Maria with the gals from Walker Homestead~ Kris, Doreen and Marge. They took time out from getting ready for their Simple Treasures of the Past show on September 24th to surprise Maria! How sweet was that?  For info on their awesome antique show click ~here!  It is a must on your fall agenda!055
As usual Maria made some yummy treats for both the customers and us! You never go hungry when at Maria’s! Here is her famous grape salad. It’s so good! The recipe is in the spring issue or you can find it ~here~. 065

The shop was also decked out for fall from head to toe and I snapped a few pics in there as well.012
Whether you are looking for small accessories…013
or large furnishings, Maria and John have it all. 016
